Our Rules are set in place to keep peace and order in DBD. If broken, there will be consequences.
1] "The Golden Rule":
Members are expected to treat ALL other DBD members with respect (No matter the rank). Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
This rule includes Harassment. Hacking, Threatening, Racism, and discrimination all fall under this category.
2] Age Requirments:
All DBD members must be fourteen or older to gain a regular membership in DBD.
This does not mean that gamers under fourteen are completely restricted. If you do not meet the age limit but are a mature individual, your recruiter may make a request to the General of the squad. If the the General approves, the member will join in as a "New Blood".
3] Uniforms:
Uniforms are put in place so that other DBD members will know your rank and squad.
You must be in Uniform at all times.
You may be out of uniform for a machinima or something but must get back into uniform afterwards.
4] Multi-Memberships:
If you wish to be a member of DBD, you are not allowed to be in any other form of clan on Xbox Live.
There are exceptions to this rule. Game Battles and MLG Teams are allowed... we all have a competitive side and we do not wish to take that away from you.
5] Sportsmanship:
DBD is a friendly clan and we want you to show this at all times.
Teabagging, Trash Talking, Body Bumping, or any other form of insulting behavior is prohibited. This rule includes both Matchmaking AND Practice.
Retaliation Teabagging is allowed, but frowned upon. BE THE BIGGER PERSON!
6] Squad Problems:
Any problems within your squad MUST go through the ranking structure of the squad.
If you have a problem with something, tell your Colonel. If needed, go to your General.
7] Practice:
Practice will be lead by one person, and this person will choose gametypes and maps. If you do not like it, politely ask for a change. Do not be immature.
No non-DBD members are allowed in a practice unless approved by the practice host, or if they are a potential recruit.
8] "Rage Quit!!":
If you are playing in Matchmaking with other DBD members, do not quit just because you are losing. It shows poor sportsmanship and is rude to your fellow DBD member.
If you have a legit reason to leave the game, tell your teammate(s).
9] Actively Recruiting
You can not get promoted past Master Sergeant if you do not show that you are active and recruiting
You are not demoted by not recruiting but you just wont get promoted.
So make sure that your always trying to get recruits so you may eventually rank up.
10] Splitting regulations:
The new splitting regulations make splitting more efficient.
When a squad hits 80 members they will be cleansed of inactivity.
To split when a squad hits 80 they must have 7 officers(not including general to split.)
Officers must include 1 Colonel, 2 Captains, and 3 Lieutenants.
11] Squad Transfers:
If you want to transfer into another squad you must get General and Colonel approval of both squads. The one you are leaving, and the one you want to go too. The General of the your old squad has the right to give you some sort of a recruiting goal before you leave though. For example, you must get 2 recruits to replace you before you may change. If you change squads without confirmation from all 4 people, then you will either be put back in the old squad, or left in your new squad but you will be dropped down a rank. Or if you are officer you will be dropped to Master Sergeant until your new General promotes you.
The Consequences
First Violation: Warning
Second Violation: Demotion
Third Violation: Removal from DBD. If severe enough, a blacklisting will be put in place. All decisions on Blacklistings will be made by The Council.
*NOTE*- Demotions, Removals, and Blacklists can all be overturned by The Council. If you request an appeal, The Council may approve or decline your request. If approved, the council will look over all the evidence and then re-vote.
